Shaving hair doesn't change its thickness, color or rate of growth. A razor cannot change or alter your natural keratin cells, thus it would be impossible for shaving to have an effect on this.
We advise to shave with the direction of your hair growth however if you accidentally do not you may give the hair a blunt tip. The tip might feel coarse or "stubbly" for a time as it grows out. During this phase, the hair might be more noticeable and perhaps appear darker or thicker — but it's not.
There are unique particular cases where hormonal imbalances and genetic factors may make hair coarser as you age, however this is NOT a result of facial shaving.
